Key Responsibilities

  • Provide courteous, knowledgeable telephone support to patients receiving life‑sustaining specialty drug therapy.
  • Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, ensuring accurate verification and reverification of benefits.
  • Enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system with precision and attention to detail.
  • Communicate copay amounts, collect payments, and manage authorizations in partnership with insurance carriers.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, internal teams, and external partners to identify, resolve, and defer orders that encounter clinical or accounts‑receivable issues.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of all interactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Utilize strong problem‑solving skills to navigate complex benefit structures, insurance queries, and medication eligibility challenges.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year experience in a high‑volume customer service role, handling complex inquiries over the phone.
  • Proficiency with Windows‑based applications, including Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email platforms.
  • Demonstrated computer keyboarding skills with a high degree of accuracy and speed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) that can be verified.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a talent for translating technical information into clear, patient‑friendly language.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Residency within 75 miles of the arenaflex Specialty Pharmacy location at 9310 Southpark Center Loop, Orlando, FL 32819.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly within pharmacy, benefits, or insurance environments.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, prescription processing, and insurance verification processes.
  • Experience using pharmacy information systems or electronic health record (EHR) platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Certification or coursework related to health‑care administration, pharmacy technology, or customer service excellence.

Compensation & Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package that reflects your experience, skill set, and geographic location. The typical hourly pay range for this role is $17.00 – $25.65, with the final offer determined by factors such as tenure, education, and performance.
