What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities

The Services Sales Specialist plays a critical role in delivering consultative customer support and a seamless sales experience for decking projects over the phone. You will build meaningful relationships, establish trust, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining the highest standards of call quality.

Collaboration and Teamwork (20%)

  • Partner closely with arenaflex internal teams and external service providers to coordinate sales activities and ensure successful appointment completion.
  • Serve as a vital link between customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to streamline communication and project execution.
  • Contribute to a culture of teamwork by sharing insights, strategies, and best practices with colleagues.

Customer Communication and Engagement (40%)

  • Proactively reach out to customers via inbound and outbound calling to discuss decking products, assess their needs, and schedule installation appointments.
  • Conduct follow-up calls before and after the sales cycle to close service agreements, set new appointments, and recover lost sales opportunities across various geographic regions.
  • Deliver compelling, consultative conversations that build trust and lead customers toward confident purchasing decisions.
  • Ensure customers feel informed, valued, and prepared for every stage of the installation process by setting clear and accurate expectations.

Customer Service Excellence (20%)

  • Provide an effortless, consultative sales experience by phone, fostering rapport and trust with every interaction.
  • Utilize proven sales techniques to close transactions effectively and consistently meet performance benchmarks.
  • Maintain the highest level of customer care throughout the ordering and appointment-setting process, ensuring a smooth and problem-free experience.
  • Handle sales requests efficiently, scheduling appointments in the most cost-effective manner while ensuring proper pricing and procedures are followed.
  • Verify product and appointment accuracy, confirming that customers have a clear understanding of what to expect.

Process and Policy Adherence (20%)

  • Address customer, service provider, and internal partner issues promptly and professionally.
  • Follow arenaflex processes and policies meticulously while logging all relevant information accurately in company systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

What We’re Looking For: Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Sales Acumen: Demonstrated background in sales, with a strong understanding of consultative selling techniques and the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and general computer proficiency. You must have a personal internet connection with a minimum download speed of 10 Mbps and upload speed of 3 Mbps to support remote work operations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to convey information clearly, persuasively, and professionally.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, service providers, and internal partners.
  • Self-Motivation: A driven, goal-oriented mindset with the discipline to succeed in a structured, fast-paced remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the home improvement, construction, or decking industry is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a remote or call center environment.

Work Environment and Schedule

This is a full-time position with a standard schedule of 8 hours per day. The role is based remotely, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while staying connected to a supportive, collaborative team. The position reports to the Contact Center Manager and has no direct reports, though you will collaborate with a wide range of internal and external partners.

Travel requirements are minimal, with occasional overnight travel expected less than 10% of the time. Most of your workday will be spent in a comfortable seated position, with frequent opportunities to move around and occasional light lifting as needed.
