Position Overview

We are hiring a Customer Service Sales Consultant – Hybrid Inbound Sales & Retention Specialist to join our growing team at our Richardson, Texas location (2270 Lakeside Blvd, Richardson, TX 75082). This is a hybrid role, with 3–4 days per week working on-site in our contact center and 1–2 days per week working remotely from home. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the Richardson office for their in-center shifts.

As a Premier Service Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for prospective and existing customers — combining sales expertise with genuine care to deliver exceptional experiences on every call, chat, or email. Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Acquisition & Onboarding: Handle inbound inquiries from prospective customers, guiding them through new service setups for voice, internet, wireless plans, and the latest devices on the market.
  • Service Optimization: Address the needs of existing customers, including billing questions, payment assistance, plan changes, upgrades, and technical support requests.
  • Consultative Selling: Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities during every interaction, matching customers with the right products, services, and promotional offers based on their unique needs.
  • Issue Resolution: Provide timely, effective solutions for customer concerns; perform basic troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to Tier 3 support when necessary across voice, internet, and data networks.
  • Multi-Channel Support: Manage a high volume of customer interactions through phone, chat, email, and other digital channels in a fast-paced inbound contact center environment.
  • Account Management: Accurately maintain customer records, process adjustments, and ensure all interactions are documented in accordance with arenaflex standards.
  • Product Expertise: Become a subject-matter expert on arenaflex's full lineup of products, services, rate plans, billing structures, and promotional offers — simplifying complex information for customers at every touchpoint.
  • Cross-Functional Training: Receive cross-training to handle a broad range of call types, including collections, retention, sales channel coordination, billing adjustments, and advanced technical support as business needs evolve.
  • Goal Achievement: Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales and performance targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction scores.
  • Compliance & Security: Adhere to all arenaflex policies, security protocols, and compliance standards — both in-center and during remote work-from-home shifts.

What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like

Your typical shift at arenaflex is dynamic, energizing, and customer-focused. You'll log in to multiple systems and tools designed to help you resolve customer inquiries quickly and accurately. Early in your shift, you might be helping a new customer choose between wireless plans and assisting them with device activation. An hour later, you could be guiding an existing customer through a billing discrepancy, offering a credit where appropriate, and recommending a service upgrade that better fits their household needs.

Throughout the day, you'll listen actively, ask the right questions, and provide tailored recommendations that help customers get more value from their arenaflex services. When technical issues arise, you'll lean on your training to perform basic troubleshooting — and when something requires deeper investigation, you'll partner with Tier 3 support to ensure a seamless resolution. Scheduled breaks, lunches, and open availability time are built into every shift so you can recharge and stay sharp.

Essential Qualifications

  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a call center, retail sales, customer service, or related customer-facing role.
  • Sales Drive: Demonstrated ability (or strong desire to develop) consultative selling skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work a set schedule that may include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime based on business needs.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and empathetically.
  • Technical Aptitude: Comfortable using multiple computer systems, navigating digital tools, and learning new technology platforms quickly.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to resolve customer issues on the first contact whenever possible.
  • Reliability: Must be available, accessible, and accountable during established work schedules, including remote shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in telecommunications, wireless sales, inbound sales, or retention roles.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, billing systems, and contact center software.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities (a plus, but not required).
  • Experience working in a hybrid or remote capacity with strong self-discipline and time-management skills.
  • Track record of consistently exceeding performance KPIs in a metrics-driven environment.

Work-From-Home Requirements

For the 1–2 days per week you work from home, you will need:

  • Verified, secure, reliable, dedicated high-speed internet service to support business operations.
  • An established, dedicated work area including a desk, chair, electrical outlet, and direct LAN connection.
  • A workspace that aligns with arenaflex's WFH standards (technical, security, physical, noise level, and Clean Desk policy compliance).
  • Willingness to participate in periodic workspace audits, which may include remote desktop observation, call and screen recordings, live webcam monitoring, and photo/video verification of your setup.
  • arenaflex provides all necessary equipment — including a keyboard, monitor, computer, and mobile device — so you can hit the ground running.

Compensation & Rewards

At arenaflex, we believe great work deserves great pay. Our Premier Service Consultants earn a competitive base pay of $600.00 – $696.50 per week, plus the opportunity to earn up to $36,000 in annual commissions when sales goals are achieved. Individual starting salary within this range may vary based on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
