Authentication Service Product Owner

Job Description

The Technical Product Owner for Compliance is responsible for defining, refining, and driving the delivery of software solutions that align with customer needs, business objectives and regulatory needs. This role will specifically focus on Authentication and Single sign on, but will support and work on other compliance service also. This role bridges business strategy and engineering execution by translating requirements into actionable development work and ensuring high-quality product delivery. Within the Compliance function there will be a range of service and capabilities being focused on including but not limited to: Authentication, E-Signature, Authorization, Audit trail, DTC, TLS certification and Licensing services. This role will also support the compliance needs of services being delivered by other Core Hub groups. Key Responsibilities: Product Definition & Requirements Define and refine product requirements aligned with business and customer needs Translate high-level strategy into Epics, User Stories, and acceptance criteria Act as the primary interface between stakeholders and development teams Backlog Ownership & Prioritization Own and prioritize the product backlog Conduct regular backlog grooming to ensure clarity and alignment Establish and maintain story priorities based on business value Technical & Delivery Execution Provide detailed acceptance criteria to guide development and QA Support sprint planning, execution, and delivery tracking Ensure successful implementation of features and overall product quality Facilitate resolution of technical questions and dependencies Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with:Product Management Compliance SME Engineering / R&D teams Sales, field teams, and application engineers Align product deliverables with broader platform or portfolio strategy Customer & Domain Advocacy Act as a user proxy, representing customer workflows and needs Ensure features meet real-world use cases and are “fit for purpose” Ensure Compliance features are enable from the start Continuous Improvement Identify gaps in product capabilities and propose enhancements Participate in testing and validation (e.g., fit-for-use testing) Drive continuous improvement of agile processes and delivery Training: May develop and deliver technical training to the Agilent technical support teams, such as Field Service and Remote Support Engineers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent work experience) required. Relevant post-graduate qualifications, certifications, or professional licenses may be required. Minimum of 8+ years of relevant professional experience. Hands-on experience with modern technologies and AI tools, such as GitHub and Kubernetes. Strong understanding of authentication and Single Sign-On (SSO) within a GMP-regulated environment. Additional Details This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
