Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our legal team as a Trial Attorney. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing a docket of employment law cases, ensuring efficient case progression, and achieving favorable outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in court trials, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations. Develop case strategies and present arguments before judges and juries. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs. Interview witnesses, gather evidence, and prepare for trial. Negotiate settlements and plea agreements when appropriate. Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on litigation matters. Work collaboratively with legal teams, paralegals, and investigators. Stay up to date with changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents. Manage and supervise junior attorneys and support staff. Review and analyze complex employment law documents and contracts. Monitor compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements. Participate in client development and business generation activities. Maintain detailed case files and documentation. Develop and implement litigation budgets. Coordinate with expert witnesses and consultants.

Qualifications

Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Bar Admission: Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction(s). Experience: 2 years of litigation experience Ideally, the candidate will have trial experience. Strong background in procedural rules (e.g., Rule 23 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure). Skills: Ability to manage multiple cases and meet strict deadlines. Project management and ability to work as a team player with litigation associates.
