[Remote] Financial Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. FRAYT is a maturing tech company with a crowd-sourced delivery platform that connects shippers directly to a nationwide driver network. They are seeking a sharp, self-driven Financial Analyst to join their team, responsible for financial forecasting, metrics tracking, and providing actionable insights to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage financial forecasting models for revenue, volume, and cost drivers
- Perform variance analysis between actuals and forecasts, identifying trends and anomalies
- Provide actionable insights to leadership through clear financial reporting and presentations
- Build formulas and dashboards to calculate key company metrics: GMV, ARR, NDR, DSO, LTV-CAC, churn, sales/marketing conversions, and other metrics
- Calculate and validate driver and sales team commission payouts on a recurring basis
- Design scalable commission structures in collaboration with HR and operations
- Maintain audit trails and ensure accuracy across all commission-related records
- Develop and maintain pricing models for freight, courier, and logistics services
- Analyze market rates, cost structures, and margins to recommend competitive pricing strategies
- Partner with operations and sales teams to evaluate custom pricing requests
- Support month-end close activities including accruals, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports and KPI dashboards
- Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate financial statements
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a similar role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Looker, and other data financial modeling software
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry
- Hands-on experience with accounting system automation (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
- Background in data analytics tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Python
- Familiarity with commission management platforms or building custom commission models
- Experience working in a start-up or high-growth environment
