[Remote] Sr, Analytics Engineer

The Senior Analytics Engineer will lead data modeling and transformation initiatives and mentor team members while enhancing analytics infrastructure and tooling to drive business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of enterprise data models that support complex analytics use cases across multiple business functions
- Architect and enhance the analytics engineering stack, including transformation tools, semantic layers, and data catalogs
- Establish organization-wide standards for data modeling, naming conventions, and documentation practices
- Drive adoption of analytics engineering best practices, enabling scalable self-service analytics
- Mentor junior and mid-level analytics engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of data quality and continuous improvement

- 4-7 years of experience in Analytics Engineering or a related discipline
- Proven experience leading technical projects and mentoring team members
- Track record of designing and implementing scalable solutions that support business growth
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities and requirements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience within insurance, annuities, financial services, or other highly regulated industries
- Proven success with microservices migration and domain-driven design
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and modern data architectures
- Demonstrated ability to influence technical decisions and architecture direction
- Strong mentorship experience with a track record of developing team members
