[Remote] Manager of FP&A - IT Finance

The Manager of FP&A - IT Finance will act as the primary financial partner to the CIO and IT leadership, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting within the IT function.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the strategic finance partner to the CIO and IT leadership, providing forward-looking insights and decision support
- Lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of financial models for IT headcount, technology investments, project spend, vendor contracts, and ongoing run-rate costs
- Own financial management of offshore/nearshore IT resources, including forecasting, FTE vs. contractor economics, utilization and rate analysis, SOW and invoice governance, and currency/rate-card management to drive cost efficiency and value creation
- Drive the annual operating plan, long-range plan, and rolling forecast processes for all IT-related expenditures
- Monitor actuals against budget and forecast; identify variances, trends, risks, and opportunities with clear root-cause explanations
- Provide executive-ready reporting and presentations for the CFO, CIO, and leadership team
- Evaluate IT vendor contracts, managed service agreements, and capital projects to optimize spend and support value-creation priorities
- Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, HR, Sourcing, Operations, and Project Management to ensure accuracy and alignment of technology-related financials
- Develop dashboards and KPIs to track IT performance, efficiency, and cost structure
- Uphold financial policy compliance, improve processes, and strengthen internal controls related to IT spend
- Perform other related duties as needed to support finance and technology leadership
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA a plus
- Minimum 7 years of progressive FP&A or financial analysis experience, ideally within Healthcare Services, multi-site operations, or a private equity–backed environment
- Demonstrated experience supporting IT or Technology functions, including forecasting of headcount, projects, and vendor spend
- Proven ability to develop complex financial models and analytical tools in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, scenario modeling, data visualization)
- Experience preparing executive-level materials for CFO, CIO, CEO, and private equity partners
- Exceptional analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate financial insights into clear, actionable recommendations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence leaders across Finance, IT, and Operations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities
- High attention to detail while maintaining strategic perspective
- Proficiency with financial systems, ERP platforms, and advanced Excel capabilities
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines
