[Remote] Director Area Sales

They are seeking a Director Area Sales to expand market share for their Paragonix Transport Systems business by promoting and selling their organ transportation devices within an assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct a team of sales people to sell the full Paragonix portfolio within assigned geographic area
  • Achieve or exceed team revenue quota at 100% monthly, quarterly and annually
  • Closely collaborate with services, clinical and logistical leadership and corresponding teams
  • Lead and direct sales team to maintain and or increase ASP where applicable, gain market share quarter over quarter and year over year within aligned area
  • Differentiate Paragonix products, from the current standard of care and competitive products
  • Call points will include but are not limited to adult and pediatric transplant surgeons, medical directors, medical physicians, fellows, transplant administration and C-suite. Develop personal relationships with key transplant leaders within assigned area
  • Differentiate Paragonix products with clinical data and lead team towards the same
  • Attend medical/society meetings within assigned area representing Paragonix as a senior leader. Additionally, attend key meetings outside of assigned area as requested by management
  • Regularly communicate territory needs, trends, and problems to CCO
  • Ensure direct reports complete administrative requirements
  • Regularly co-travel with direct reports, attend and facilitate the creation of customer meetings
  • Train and manage the performance and professional development of the team
  • Comply with all corporate policies, standards of conduct and maintain all administrative functions

Skills

  • Minimum bachelors degree, graduate degree preferred
  • Minimum 10 years sales leadership experience, medical device preferred
  • Must be willing to travel domestic and/or internationally up to 50% of the time
  • Must live within 30 miles of a major airport
  • Skills required: Medical device sales, leadership, management, communication, cross team collaboration, organization, contract negotiations, team building, conflict management, analytics, hiring, performance management and personnel development
