[Remote] Senior Account Manager-Portable Gas Detection

They are seeking a Senior Account Manager for their Portable Gas Detection organization, responsible for managing customer engagements, building relationships, and defining sales strategies to drive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support distribution channel partners
  • End-user engagement and support
  • Identify cross sell opportunities
  • Support products and customers
  • Utilize CRM SalesForce
  • Provide technical support
  • Assist with applications & solutions
  • Identify opportunities and manage momentum through the sales cycle
  • Articulate and deliver the Honeywell value proposition
  • Manage and plan accounts
  • Negotiate and close
  • Establish rapport with customers
  • Expect 50% travel by vehicle

Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or sales, with a proven track record of managing key accounts and driving revenue growth
  • Experience selling technical solutions direct to customers or through distribution channels
  • Safety or gas detection experience
  • Ability to travel (50%+) MD, NJ, NY, CT, PA, (remote position, can sit anywhere within territory)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment
  • Proactive, self-starter personality with results-oriented attitude
  • Strong capability in consultative selling: identifying opportunities, delivering value proposition, negotiating, and closing
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Zoom and CRM (preferably Salesforce)
