About arenaflex – Pioneering the Future of Aviation

At arenaflex, we are on an exhilarating journey to reshape the airline industry. Our mission, “Connecting People, Uniting the World,” goes far beyond moving passengers from point A to point B. As a global leader with operations in dozens of countries, we serve millions of travelers each year and employ a diverse workforce of tens of thousands. We believe that a truly inclusive, innovative, and digitally‑driven culture is the engine that powers our success. If you are passionate about data protection, privacy, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on a world‑class airline, this remote, online role could be your next great adventure.

Why This Role Matters

Data is the lifeblood of modern aviation. From flight schedules to passenger information, every piece of data must be handled with the utmost care, security, and compliance. As a Data Protection & Privacy Analyst at arenaflex, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding that data, ensuring that our digital ecosystems remain resilient, trustworthy, and compliant with local, national, and international regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate data entry and validation tasks for privacy‑related datasets, maintaining a 99.9% error‑free rate.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including IT, Legal, Compliance, and Operations—to interpret and implement data protection policies.
  • Monitor and audit data handling processes, identifying gaps and recommending corrective actions.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and data mapping documentation.
  • Provide clear, concise communication to stakeholders at all levels, translating complex privacy requirements into actionable guidance.
  • Support incident response activities by documenting data breaches, conducting root‑cause analysis, and helping to remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Stay current with evolving privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) and industry best practices, proactively advising the organization on emerging risks.
  • Utilize privacy‑focused tools and vendor solutions to automate data classification, encryption, and access controls.
  • Participate in regular training sessions, webinars, and workshops to continuously enhance your expertise and share knowledge with peers.

Essential Qualifications (Minimum Requirements)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a data‑centric or privacy‑focused role.
  • Demonstrated understanding of data protection and privacy regulations across local, national, and global jurisdictions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—ability to engage with senior leadership, technical teams, and non‑technical staff alike.
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments, meet strict deadlines, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Reliability and punctuality—consistent attendance is a core expectation for this remote position.

Preferred Qualifications (What Sets You Apart)

  • Professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or Security+.
  • Hands‑on experience with privacy‑focused vendors, tools, and product suites (e.g., OneTrust, TrustArc, BigID).
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, protocols, and security architecture.
  • Familiarity with security engineering concepts, cryptography, and key management practices.
  • Ability to interpret non‑compliance findings and assess their impact on risk levels and overall program effectiveness.
  • Experience conducting privacy impact assessments, data mapping, and risk‑based remediation planning.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical mindset: Ability to dissect complex data sets, identify anomalies, and propose data‑driven solutions.
  • Attention to detail: Precision in data entry and documentation is critical to maintaining compliance.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal skills, with the capacity to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
  • Collaboration: Proven teamwork across multidisciplinary groups, fostering a culture of shared responsibility.
  • Adaptability: Comfort with evolving regulatory landscapes and emerging privacy technologies.
