Why This Role Matters

As a Remote Parts & Inventory Customer Support Agent at arenaflex, you become the frontline liaison between our dealership partners, service departments, and the broader arenaflex ecosystem. Your expertise will help ensure that parts are delivered on time, inventory discrepancies are resolved swiftly, and customers experience minimal downtime. In an industry where every minute counts, your contributions directly influence the reliability of fleets worldwide and reinforce arenaflex’s reputation as a trusted partner.

Role Overview

This fully remote position is open to Michigan residents who thrive in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment. You will handle inbound and outbound communications across multiple channels, manage case lifecycles, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues. Training is provided, and you will receive continuous coaching to sharpen both technical knowledge and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers via telephone, email, live chat, and scripted dialogue to address inquiries related to parts orders, inventory status, damage claims, and service requests.
  • Accurately log each interaction in the CRM system, updating customer account records and ensuring data integrity.
  • Leverage technical product knowledge to diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and guide customers through troubleshooting steps.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for dealership service departments and arenaflex’s customer breakdown teams, fostering strong, collaborative relationships.
  • Manage case files, track multiple touchpoints, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams (product support, billing, sales, and logistics) to drive timely resolutions.
  • Proactively reduce vehicle downtime by delivering prompt, accurate information and facilitating rapid parts delivery.
  • Escalate complex or high‑priority inquiries to the appropriate internal specialists while maintaining ownership of the customer experience.
  • Conduct outbound outreach to follow up on open tickets, gather feedback, and ensure satisfaction after issue resolution.
  • Maintain a positive, upbeat attitude in all communications, embodying arenaflex’s brand values of humility and customer obsession.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Engineering, or a related field, combined with at least two years of customer service experience, OR a master’s degree in lieu of experience.
  • Alternatively, four or more years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to work scheduled shifts (Monday‑Friday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Eastern) reliably, with a strong sense of punctuality for time‑sensitive queues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for translating technical jargon into clear, customer‑friendly language.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, ticketing systems, and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with automotive parts inventory software is a plus.
  • Strong problem‑solving aptitude and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience in the automotive or heavy‑equipment industry, particularly with parts and service operations.
  • Familiarity with logistics, supply‑chain processes, or warranty claim handling.
  • Certification in customer service excellence (e.g., HDI, ITIL) or technical certifications related to vehicle systems.
  • Ability to quickly learn arenaflex’s product portfolio, including engine components, chassis parts, and aftermarket accessories.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Work‑From‑Home Requirements

  • Must be a legal resident of Michigan.
  • High‑speed broadband internet (minimum 25 Mbps download) with a reliable Ethernet or landline connection.
  • Dedicated, quiet workspace free from distractions to ensure professional interactions.
  • Company‑provided headset and ergonomic accessories (optional, based on location).
