Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, detail‑oriented Warehouse Waiter (Logistics Operator) to become a vital member of arenaflex’s dynamic logistics team. This part‑time role blends hands‑on warehouse duties with remote data‑entry responsibilities, offering a unique hybrid experience that supports both physical inventory movement and digital order processing. If you enjoy a physically active environment, have a knack for organization, and are comfortable using technology to track and manage stock, this opportunity is tailor‑made for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely load, unload, and organize products within the fulfillment center using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other specialized equipment.
  • Perform meticulous quality‑control checks on incoming and outgoing shipments to verify item accuracy, condition, and packaging integrity.
  • Collaborate closely with pickers, packers, and shipping coordinators to ensure customer orders are assembled, packed, and dispatched on schedule.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard‑free work environment by adhering to safety protocols, sanitation standards, and housekeeping procedures.
  • Utilize arenaflex’s Warehouse Management System (WMS) to record inventory movements, update stock levels, and locate items efficiently.
  • Enter remote data entry tasks such as order verification, inventory reconciliation, and shipment documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Report any discrepancies, damaged goods, equipment malfunctions, or operational concerns to the shift supervisor promptly.
  • Assist in periodic cycle counts, stock audits, and inventory reconciliation projects to support overall data integrity.
  • Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives, suggesting process enhancements that reduce waste, improve speed, or boost safety.
  • Adapt to varying shift schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet fluctuating demand peaks.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted).
  • Demonstrated ability to lift, carry, and maneuver items weighing 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
  • Basic proficiency with computers, including familiarity with inventory management software, spreadsheets, and data‑entry interfaces.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a proven track record of accurate record‑keeping and error detection.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear interaction with teammates and supervisors.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment while maintaining composure and safety awareness.
  • Willingness to undergo safety training, equipment certification, and any required background checks.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Experience

  • Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics setting, especially in roles involving order fulfillment or material handling.
  • Certification to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other powered industrial equipment.
  • Exposure to remote data‑entry workflows, such as order verification, inventory reconciliation, or e‑commerce platform administration.
  • Familiarity with arenaflex’s WMS or similar warehouse software platforms (e.g., SAP WM, Manhattan, Oracle Netsuite).
  • Demonstrated reliability through consistent attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Experience working in a team‑oriented environment where collaboration and mutual support are essential to success.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Organizational Excellence: Ability to keep inventory zones tidy, label items correctly, and follow systematic processes.
  • Physical Stamina: Capacity to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods without compromising safety.
  • Technical Aptitude: Comfort navigating digital interfaces, scanning devices, and data‑entry portals.
  • Problem‑Solving Mindset: Quick identification of discrepancies and proactive communication of solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills that foster a supportive, cooperative atmosphere on the floor.
