Position Overview – Remote Medical Records Coordinator (Data Entry) We are seeking a meticulous, detail‑oriented Remote Medical Records Coordinator to serve as the administrative hub for our field care teams. In this role, you will be responsible for entering, verifying, and maintaining clinical data across multiple systems, ensuring that every record is complete, accurate, and compliant with industry standards. You will also collaborate with provider offices, health‑system partners, and other clinical entities to facilitate seamless transmission of medical records. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high‑volume data entry from diverse sources (paper charts, electronic files, faxed documents) into careerzynith’s secure database platforms.
  • Validate the accuracy and integrity of each entry by cross‑checking against source documents and flagging discrepancies for resolution.
  • Apply standard classification systems (ICD‑10, CPT, HCPCS) to code clinical information where required, ensuring compliance with billing and reporting guidelines.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and security protocols for all patient‑related information, adhering to HIPAA and careerzynith’s internal policies.
  • Collaborate closely with remote field care teams, providers, and health‑system partners to coordinate the timely transmission of medical records.
  • Participate in regular data cleanup, de‑duplication, and validation activities to improve overall data quality.
  • Document and report any data integrity issues, suggesting process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide administrative support for audit preparation, including generating reports and assembling required documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives by sharing insights, proposing workflow enhancements, and participating in team meetings.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certification in medical records administration, health information management, or data entry is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1‑2 years proven experience in a data entry, medical records, or health‑information role.
  • Exceptional typing speed (≥60 wpm) with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, especially when handling sensitive health data.
