As a remote call center representative, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with the requirement to pick up equipment in Tallahassee. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals and families in gaining access to healthcare services, providing guidance and support throughout the process
  • Review and determine eligibility and enrollment for assigned workload, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Provide high-quality customer service and support, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain confidentiality of personal health information, adhering to strict privacy and security protocols
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years' experience in the healthcare industry, with a strong understanding of healthcare services and operations
  • Minimum of one year of eligibility experience preferred, with knowledge of FL Medicaid programs and other government-funded healthcare initiatives
  • Associate's degree preferred, with a focus on healthcare administration, customer service, or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse populations
  • Strong PC proficiency, with a willingness to learn new applications and technologies
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish or Creole) strongly preferred, with the ability to communicate fluently with Spanish-speaking customers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a call center environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and compliance requirements, including HIPAA and other relevant laws
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions
