Our customers rely on arenaflex’s state‑of‑the‑art dispensing equipment to deliver cold, refreshing beverages in restaurants, stadiums, retail stores, and other high‑traffic venues. As a Part‑Time Customer Support & Service Technician, you will be the frontline guardian of that experience. You will travel to client sites, diagnose and repair equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure that every machine operates at peak performance. Your work directly impacts customer satisfaction, brand reputation, and the overall reliability of arenaflex’s beverage network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Perform mechanical services and light refurbishments on soft‑drink dispensing equipment in accordance with arenaflex standards.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with beverage wellspring machines, including electrical, hydraulic, and refrigeration components.
  • Preventive Care: Conduct routine inspections, cleaning, and preventive maintenance to keep refrigeration units operating efficiently.
  • Installation Support: Assist with the setup and commissioning of new dispensing units, ensuring proper alignment, calibration, and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Documentation: Accurately record service activities, parts used, and time spent in arenaflex’s field service management system.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide courteous, professional support to clients, explaining repairs, offering usage tips, and reinforcing arenaflex’s commitment to service excellence.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow technicians, dispatch coordinators, and the regional support team to share knowledge and improve service processes.
  • Flexibility: Be prepared to work weekends, holidays, or on‑call shifts when urgent service requests arise.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) – a solid educational foundation is required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record – you will need to travel to client locations across the Tampa area and occasionally to remote sites.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude – experience repairing or maintaining machinery, especially beverage dispensing equipment, is highly valued.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that require standing, bending, and climbing ladders.
  • Strong communication skills – the ability to convey technical information in a clear, friendly manner to non‑technical customers.
  • Reliability and punctuality – consistent attendance and adherence to scheduled service windows are critical.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Associate’s degree or technical certification in HVAC, refrigeration, or mechanical engineering.
  • Previous experience working with commercial beverage dispensing systems, such as soda fountains, keg coolers, or ice machines.
  • Familiarity with basic electrical schematics and the ability to safely test voltage and continuity.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and OSHA regulations.
  • Proficiency with handheld diagnostic tools, tablet‑based service apps, and basic computer literacy.
  • Customer‑service orientation with a track record of resolving issues promptly and courteously.
