Our culture is built on collaboration, continuous improvement, and a shared passion for making a tangible impact in the global supply chain ecosystem.

Why This Role Matters

In the fast‑paced world of logistics, data is the lifeblood that drives decision‑making, operational efficiency, and strategic growth. As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be the guardian of that data—ensuring every shipment, invoice, and inventory record is captured accurately, promptly, and securely. Your meticulous work will directly influence the reliability of our logistics platforms, the quality of our reporting, and the satisfaction of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and update logistics‑related information—including shipment details, carrier data, and inventory movements—into arenaflex’s proprietary management system with a focus on speed and precision.
  • Conduct thorough verification of incoming data to confirm completeness, correctness, and compliance with internal standards.
  • Perform routine audits of the database to identify inconsistencies, duplicate entries, or missing fields, and initiate corrective actions.
  • Generate and distribute regular data‑driven reports, dashboards, and summaries for internal stakeholders, highlighting trends, exceptions, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, customer service, finance, and IT teams to resolve data discrepancies and streamline information flow.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and data security protocols, adhering to industry regulations and arenaflex’s internal policies.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements that enhance data quality, reduce manual effort, and support automation initiatives.
  • Provide backup support for other administrative functions during peak periods or when team members are unavailable.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certifications in data management, information systems, or logistics is a distinct advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years proven experience in a data entry, data validation, or similar administrative role, preferably within a logistics, transportation, or supply‑chain environment.
  • Typing Proficiency: Demonstrated typing speed of at least 70 words per minute with a 99% accuracy rate.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors, inconsistencies, and anomalies in large data sets.
  • Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—particularly Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data validation tools) and Outlook; familiarity with database platforms (e.g., SQL, Access) is a plus.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear articulation of data issues and collaborative problem‑solving.
  • Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously while also thriving in a collaborative, cross‑functional team environment.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Certification in logistics or supply‑chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) or related fields.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, Oracle, or arenaflex’s proprietary logistics platform.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and best practices for data protection.
  • Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for creating intuitive reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high‑volume workloads during peak shipping seasons while maintaining accuracy.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret raw data, recognize patterns, and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Organizational Excellence: Systematic approach to managing multiple data streams, deadlines, and priorities.
  • Problem‑Solving Initiative: Proactive identification of root causes for data errors and swift implementation of corrective measures.
  • Adaptability: Comfort with evolving technology, process changes, and dynamic business needs.
  • Integrity & Confidentiality: Commitment to safeguarding sensitive information and upholding ethical standards.
