Sr. Consulting Manager, Automotive sector

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer who will be responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining AI workflows that support an Auto OEM’s business and technical objectives. The AI Engineer will be focused on the design, implementation, and operationalization of AI workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end AI workflows, including data ingestion, feature engineering, model inference, and output delivery.
  • End-to-end AI workflows, including data ingestion, feature engineering, model inference, and output delivery
  • Develop and operationalize AI pipelines for batch and real-time use cases.-time use cases
  • Automate the workflows via orchestration and scheduling mechanisms.
  • Implement testing, validation, and performance optimization for AI workflows.
  • Collaborate with the OEM engineers to align solutions with enterprise standards.
  • Define program goals, scope, deliverables, and success metrics in alignment with organizational strategy.
  • Monitor program performance, timelines, and budget adherence.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate program-level risks and issues.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders through status reports and review meetings.
  • Ensure alignment between business goals, project delivery, and change management.
  • Foster collaboration between product, engineering, operations, and other departments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information technology, or related field experience.
  • Fluency in AWS based platforms is a plus
  • 5+ years of proven experience in AI, preferably in the automotive sectors or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide project teams, manage stakeholders, and drive success.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, CISSP or CSM is a plus.

Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or master’s strongly preferred. Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future. Salary: Applications will be accepted until June 5th, 2026. The annual salary for this position is between $64,350.00 – $101,500.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Incentives: Eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, subject to applicable plan terms.
