As an Amazon HR Generalist, you will be an integral part of our HR team, working closely with various stakeholders to drive business outcomes and enhance the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate headcount and other HR reports, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Engage with employees to boost morale and productivity, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Proactively identify and address Employee Relations (ER) issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing escalation.
  • Handle grievances and complaints in a fair and transparent manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage HRIS, payroll, and other HR-related systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with Recruitment and ERC teams to ensure seamless hiring processes and compliance with company policies.
  • Ensure statutory compliances, including labor laws and regulations, and maintain accurate records.
  • Manage contractors and agency staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Process and audit contractor services and invoices at the regional level, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee basic supplies, including uniform, pantry, lockers, etc., and ensure timely procurement and maintenance.
  • Organize engagement activities, such as birthday celebrations, monthly learning activities, reward and recognition programs, and other events to enhance the associate experience.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including cafeteria management, to ensure seamless services and compliance with company policies.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications:

  • A graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • 2-3 years of experience in HR, preferably in a large warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing company.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders.
  • High presentation, reporting, and team player skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create reports and presentations.
  • Demonstrated intense customer focus, with a strong commitment to delivering results with high standards.
  • Demonstrated highest level of integrity, intellectual honesty, and strong work ethic.
  • Consistent effort, intense commitment, and willingness to go above and beyond when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working with Amazon or other large e-commerce companies.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations, including statutory compliances.
  • Experience with HRIS, payroll, and other HR-related systems.
  • Certification in HR, such as SHRM or HRCI, is an added advantage.
