[Remote] Senior Oracle Database Administrator

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. AppLab Systems, Inc is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to support SAP environments and manage Oracle databases. The role involves installing and configuring databases, particularly Oracle 19c and SAP HANA, and requires extensive experience in database administration.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting SAP environments and solid understanding of SAP architecture
  • Proficient in managing SAP HANA DB
  • Proficient in installing/managing open-source databases primarily MySQL and PostgreSQL
  • Strong experience with Oracle Database 19c, including multitenant architecture (CDBs and PDBs)
  • Experience installing, configuring, and administering Oracle Data Guard environments
  • Experience applying patches across all layers of Oracle Exadata infrastructure

Skills

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)
  • Supporting SAP environments and solid understanding of SAP architecture
  • Proficient in managing SAP HANA DB
  • Proficient in installing/managing open-source databases primarily MySQL and PostgreSQL
  • Strong experience with Oracle Database 19c, including multitenant architecture (CDBs and PDBs)
  • Experience installing, configuring, and administering Oracle Data Guard environments
  • Experience applying patches across all layers of Oracle Exadata infrastructure
