[Remote] Sales Director

The Sales Director will lead the end-to-end sales cycle, define and execute the go-to-market strategy, and build a high-performing sales team while maintaining strong relationships with key customers and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying leads, delivering product demonstrations, developing proposals, and closing strategic deals with organizations in science, AI, and finance
  • Define and execute the go-to-market strategy
  • Build and manage a high-performing sales team
  • Develop scalable sales processes and metrics
  • Collaborate closely with leadership, product, and marketing teams to align commercial efforts with product roadmap and market opportunities
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
  • Gather market feedback
  • Represent OpenMatter Network at industry events and with enterprise stakeholders

Skills

  • Proven expertise in Sales and Business Development, including pipeline management, deal negotiation, and strategic account growth
  • Experience in Sales Operations, such as forecasting, reporting, CRM management, and building scalable sales processes
  • Strong background in Customer Service, with a focus on long-term relationship management, customer satisfaction, and retention
  • Demonstrated Team Management skills, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and building inclusive, high-performing teams
  • Experience selling technical or SaaS solutions, ideally in data infrastructure, AI, cryptography, or privacy-enhancing technologies
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in clear, business-focused language to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfort operating in an early-stage or high-growth environment, with a hands-on, outcome-oriented approach
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
