As a Release Manager at ICON, you will be responsible for governing and orchestrating all releases across the multi-agent framework, agent services, and central AI platform. You will ensure that all releases delivered into production are secure, compliant, stable, and scalable, supporting the success of AI programmes and engineering initiatives. What You Will Do: In this role you will take ownership of the end-to-end release lifecycle, ensuring releases are well-coordinated, predictable, and aligned to programme timelines. Key Responsibilities: Own and manage the release calendar and cadence across multiple programmes and platforms Plan, schedule, and orchestrate releases end-to-end, including feature releases, patches, and hotfixes Coordinate cross-functional release activities across engineering, infrastructure, and security teams Define and enforce release quality gates, ensuring compliance with governance, regulatory, and security requirements Manage deployment processes across development, staging, UAT, and production environments Monitor release performance, drive post-release reviews, and implement continuous improvement initiatives Identify and mitigate release risks, ensuring stability and reliability across all deployments Act as the primary point of contact for release communications, stakeholder updates, and escalation management Your Profile: Proven experience in release management, DevOps, or software engineering operations within multi-team environments Experience managing platform or shared service releases across multiple concurrent workstreams Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and release orchestration tooling Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP) and containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes) Experience working within regulated or governance-driven environments, ensuring compliance and audit readiness Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate across technical teams without direct authority Excellent organisational, communication, and risk management skills, with a focus on continuous improvement #LI-JC3 #LI-Remote Employment with ICON is contingent upon having the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
