AI Product Owner (HealthTec)

Remote, USA Full-time Posted 2026-06-16

PROJECT OVERVIEW We are working with a HealthTech company specializing in audiology, providing cloud-based practice management software, clinical testing tools, and data analytics solutions for hearing care professionals, clinics, and hospitals. Their platform supports the full patient journey—from appointment scheduling and clinical workflows to billing and aftercare—helping streamline operations and reduce administrative workload. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL Own and manage the AI product backlog, ensuring it is well-prioritized, refined, and ready for engineering delivery. Work closely with engineering teams in day-to-day Agile/Scrum delivery, actively participating in sprint planning, refinement, and execution. Break down requirements into clear, actionable user stories with strong acceptance criteria. Collaborate deeply with engineers on solution design for AI features, APIs, integrations, and data flows. Participate in technical discussions, helping shape feasible solutions and challenging engineering decisions when needed. Translate customer and business needs into implementable technical requirements for AI-driven features. Ensure AI solutions (LLMs, agents, integrations) are practical, scalable, and aligned with real user needs. Define success metrics before development and validate outcomes after delivery. Identify delivery risks early (data, integration, model limitations) and help drive mitigation. Work closely with Product Management to align execution with AI roadmap and company strategy. IF YOU ARE 5+ years as a Product Owner in B2B SaaS with strong hands-on delivery experience; Proven experience working directly with engineering teams in Agile/Scrum environment; Strong technical understanding of APIs, system integrations, and data flows; Experience actively contributing to technical solution design discussions; Solid understanding of AI/ML fundamentals and ability to evaluate feasibility with engineers; Practical knowledge of LLMs (prompting, context limits, cost, latency, quality, risks); Experience building or delivering AI-powered features/products in collaboration with engineering teams (not just using AI tools); Understanding of agentic AI concepts (tool use, orchestration, workflows); Strong backlog management and user story writing skills; Comfortable making decisions in ambiguity and working within technical constraints; Strong English (B2+). The role requires ability to travel across EU. NICE TO HAVE Experience shipping AI features in healthcare, medtech; You've worked with AI quality frameworks - evaluation pipelines, guardrails, human-in-the-loop patterns; Experience managing AI-specific risks - hallucination, bias, data privacy, regulatory constraints. Familiarity with how AI integrates into existing product ecosystems without breaking user workflows. You've shipped AI features that real users adopted, not just prototypes that got applause internally. WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU Long-term engagement in a stable, growing SaaS company; Remote-first and async-friendly with flat organizational structure; High bar for engineering and product quality; A team that values depth over hype: production quality over flashy prototypes; A culture that values personal growth as much as business outcomes. HOW’S THE HIRING PROCESS GOING We strive to make our hiring process smooth and transparent to find the perfect match for both sides. Steps may differ depending on the role, but here’s what to expect: Initial Interview: If your background fits the role, we’ll invite you for an interview with a Talent Acquisition Specialist. Technical Interview: Depending on the position, you may complete a technical assessment or test task. Client Interview Final Decision: After all steps, we’ll get back to you with the result and next steps. Apply To This Job
