The Role: Customer Experience Associate

arenaflex is seeking a passionate and dedicated Customer Experience Associate to join our front store team. This role is the cornerstone of our customer service operations, serving as the primary point of contact for our valued customers. As a Customer Experience Associate, you'll have the opportunity to create meaningful connections with customers while supporting their health and wellness needs. Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience Excellence

  • Model and deliver a distinctive, delightful customer experience that exceeds expectations
  • Actively engage customers with warm greetings and genuine assistance
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction
  • Share customer service best practices with team members to maintain service standards
  • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills including eye contact, courtesy, and proactive assistance
  • Identify customer needs and offer appropriate product recommendations and solutions

Front Store Operations

  • Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately using assigned cash register
  • Handle cash, credit card payments, and alternative payment methods securely
  • Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges according to company policy
  • Maintain clean, organized, and well-merchandised counters and shelves
  • Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate records
  • Check in, price, and properly merchandise new arrivals
  • Implement asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss
  • Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products

Visual Merchandising & Displays

  • Construct and maintain attractive promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise displays
  • Complete store resets and revisions as directed by management
  • Assist with proper product placement according to company policies
  • Separate food items appropriately (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked)
  • Implement first in, first out stock rotation for perishable items

Photo Services

  • Provide exceptional customer service in the photo area
  • Assist with digital passport photo services
  • Support poster printing and creative machine operations
  • Suggestively sell promotional photo products

E-commerce & Store Maintenance

  • Monitor and fulfill web pick-up orders through Picture Care Plus
  • Accurately pick and deliver orders to arriving customers
  • Assist with interior and exterior maintenance
  • Ensure clean, neat, and orderly store conditions

Qualifications & Skills

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 6 months of customer service experience preferred
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to learn store systems
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous retail or healthcare customer service experience
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems
  • Basic knowledge of photo services and equipment
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems
  • Experience with web order fulfillment systems
  • Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish or other languages)
