[Remote] Full Stack Java Developer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ISoftech Inc is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer with prior IRS experience preferred. The role involves designing and implementing Micro Service Architecture JEE software applications and full stack development of scalable web and batch applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Micro Service Architecture JEE software applications
• Full stack development building highly scalable web and batch applications
• Participate in Agile development methodologies and ceremonies
• Develop Back-end applications using Java frameworks like Spring Boot, Core Java, JDBC, SQL, RESTful APIs, Microservices etc
• Develop Front-end applications, where needed, utilizing REACT JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS, etc
• Use modern software engineering tools including Eclipse, Rational Application Developer (RAD), and Atlassian Suites for the design, development, and testing of software
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services using Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate)
• Ensure secure and efficient data management and integration with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc
• Implement client-side validation, event handling, and dynamic content update functionalities
• Write and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality and reliability
• Debug and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks
• System development methodologies including Agile
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (4 years' experience in lieu of degree)
• 8 years total IT experience primarily as Full-Stack Java Developer
• 3+ years of strong hands-on experience as a Backend Java Developer
• Overall experience with – Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using Java for backend and JavaScript, HTML, CSS for frontend development
• Implement server-side logic, database integration, and ensure seamless data flow between backend and frontend
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services using Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate)
• Ensure secure and efficient data management and integration with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc
