[Remote] Curriculum Content Developer

In this role, you will design and develop standards-aligned curriculum in Math for Grades 6-12, creating engaging and accessible learning experiences that improve student outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop standards-aligned curriculum in Math Grades 6–12
• Create instructional content, learning activities, and assessments using backward design principles
• Leverage tools like Course Builder and AI-assisted platforms to draft, refine, and enhance content
• Analyze student performance data and feedback to improve and iterate on course materials
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including editors, designers, and product partners to refine course experiences
• Review and edit content to ensure quality, clarity, accessibility, and alignment with StrongMind standards

Skills

• Strong knowledge of K–12 standards and learning progressions, with expertise in Grades 6–12
• Content expertise in Math
• Experience in curriculum writing, instructional design, or educational publishing
• Ability to design standards-aligned instruction and assessments that support student learning
• Strong writing, editing, and attention to detail, with a focus on clarity and consistency
• Ability to analyze student performance data and apply insights to improve content
• Comfort using digital tools, including AI-enabled platforms, with sound judgment for quality and accuracy
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams
• Experience developing online or blended learning curriculum
• Familiarity with accessibility frameworks such as WCAG or Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
• Knowledge of learning science and assessment design best practices
• Experience working with product or engineering teams in a cross-functional environment
• Familiarity with multimedia or interactive content development
