[Remote] Social Media Manager - Pre-Seed Startup

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Light Water is a pre-seed startup looking for a hands-on Social Media Manager to build their digital presence from the ground up. The role involves content creation, platform ownership, collaboration with the founder, community engagement, and testing strategies to drive conversions.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Write, design, and produce engaging text, image, and short-form video content specifically tailored to our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
• Platform Ownership: Run the daily execution across our key channels (X/Twitter) — adapting the message to fit the medium
• Founder Collaboration: Work directly 1:1 with the founder to extract the company vision and translate it into high-converting social campaigns
• Community Engagement: Jump into the comments, spark conversations with industry peers, and build our early audience organically
• Testing & Iterating: Throw ideas at the wall, track the analytics, double down on what drives conversions, and ruthlessly cut what doesn't

Skills

• Experience in content creation including writing, designing, and producing engaging text, image, and short-form video content
• Ability to run daily execution across key channels (X/Twitter) and adapt messages to fit the medium
• Experience collaborating directly with founders to extract company vision and translate it into social campaigns
• Skills in community engagement, including sparking conversations and building an audience organically
• Ability to test ideas, track analytics, and optimize content based on conversion data
• Comfortable in a pre-seed phase and able to handle ambiguity
• Action-oriented with a preference for executing ideas quickly rather than spending excessive time on strategy
• Resourceful in making a big impact with a small budget using native platform tools
• Results-driven focus on generating pipeline and Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR)
