[Remote] Business Development Representative
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Discovery Behavioral Health is a national leader in behavioral healthcare focused on improving lives through evidence-based treatment. The Clinical Outreach Representative will be responsible for marketing efforts to increase awareness and drive admissions, developing referral sources, and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Creating and executing regional strategic marketing plans. The goals of these plans are as follows:
- Increase referrals and admissions for continued company growth
- Demonstrate measured growth and revenue annually
- Develop and maintain referral relationships amongst various healthcare professionals. These relationships should include but are not limited to: Hospitals, Other treatment programs, Private practice professionals, Other professionals deemed an appropriate target for Discovery Behavioral Health clinical outreach
- Maintain activity levels equating to 85 field meetings including 5 onsite tours, 3 in-services per month or as assigned by the Regional Director of Clinical Outreach
- Contribute to referral and admissions prospects goals as identified by the Regional Director of Clinical Outreach
- Maintain Sales Force database and activity record
- Add new contacts into Sales Force: all contact information, regional assignment, and categorize, update accounts when necessary
- Keep activities and events logged appropriately in Sales Force
- All Sales Force activity is to be logged daily with all activity logged before the end of the work week
- Complete weekly and end of month reports in a timely manner: mileage reports, credit card reports, end of month reporting, and other reports as identified by Regional Director
- Assess and constructively contribute to the development of marketing collateral and other department needs
- Assist Regional Director/Territory Manager in identifying new opportunities for marketing efforts: direct mail, online, and community based
- Facilitate and support communication between outreach and admissions, outreach and clinical, outreach and management
- Facilitate and support communication between referral sources and admissions, referral sources and clinical, and referrals throughout Discovery Behavioral Health as a whole
Skills
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university
- At least three years of experience working in direct outreach or clinical experience in the mental health field
- Clinical Outreach Representative should always dress in a professional manner and have a professional demeanor in all interactions internally and externally
- Representatives must be extremely self-motivated and be able to work independently
- Their work ethic should be dedicated, prompt, organized, and efficient
- In all situations, they should conduct themselves in accordance with the expectations and mission of Discovery Behavioral Health
- Clinical Outreach Representative should maintain company standards in all interactions
- Clinical outreach should always be able to contribute in a meaningful way as to the competition and changes in the behavioral health field
