[Remote] Project Manager

The Project Manager will oversee large-scale projects from planning to completion, managing scope, schedule, budget, and subcontractors while ensuring successful project execution across various job sites nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Manage heavy civil construction projects from pre-construction through project completion
- Oversee project scope, schedules, budgets, and overall project execution
- Lead and coordinate large field crews, subcontractors, and union workforces
- Manage projects ranging from approximately $50M to $200M+ in value
- Collaborate with General Managers, Superintendents, field teams, and project stakeholders to ensure project milestones and quality standards are achieved
- Monitor project performance, productivity, safety, and financial outcomes
- Coordinate project scheduling, reporting, subcontractor management, and issue resolution
- Maintain strong client, contractor, and vendor relationships throughout project lifecycles
- Support contract administration, change management, and risk mitigation activities
- Provide hands-on leadership with a strong field presence and commitment to operational excellence
- Travel extensively to project sites across the United States as business needs require
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5–7+ years of Project Management experience within heavy civil construction
- Experience managing large-scale projects valued between $50M and $200M+
- Proven experience leading union labor forces and coordinating multiple subcontractors
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and contract management
- Experience managing field operations and resolving complex construction challenges
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-profile construction environments
- Must possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
- Travel required; this position requires extensive travel of 75%+ nationwide, including extended periods on project sites
