Tandym Group is a recognized services organization seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead finance ERP transformation initiatives in a remote setting. This role involves coordinating delivery across technical and functional teams, partnering with finance and back-office stakeholders to drive complex systems work from planning through post-go-live support.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end finance systems transformation initiatives, including assessment, planning, and execution
  • Support evaluation and selection of future-state ERP and financial systems
  • Define and manage project plans, timelines, risks, dependencies, and cutover activities
  • Coordinate delivery across engineering, product, finance, and other back-office teams
  • Manage vendors, system integrators, and contract resources while tracking deliverables and budgets
  • Support data migration, testing, go-live readiness, hypercare, and post-go-live stabilization

Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Project or Program Management
  • Expert knowledge of finance systems and business processes, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial planning and analysis
  • Experience with ERP implementations, upgrades, or transformations
  • Experience partnering with or supporting back-office functions such as HR, Payroll, Procurement, Legal, or Privacy in system or process transformation initiatives
  • Experience supporting cutover, hypercare, and post-go-live activities
  • Experience working across both technical and functional teams
  • Experience managing vendors and system integrators
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with SAP or Workday
  • Proficiency with Jira, Asana, Confluence, Lucidchart, Slack, and Zoom
  • Experience using AI tools to improve planning, reporting, and delivery efficiency
  • Experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives across corporate back-office functions
  • Experience in a consulting or large-scale enterprise environment
