[Remote] National Account Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Bidfresh is a fast-growing team of fresh food experts aiming to build relationships and support team development. The National Account Manager is responsible for managing strategic customer accounts at a national level, maximizing sales opportunities, completing tender processes, negotiating pricing, and analyzing KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Managing strategic customer accounts at a national level
- Maximizing all opportunities for sales within those accounts
- Completing tender processes at contract renewal stage
- Negotiating pricing
- Undertaking menu development and training
- Analyzing weekly and monthly KPIs
- Understanding commercial terms at a high level
Skills
- Previous experience managing accounts at a national level within the foodservice industry, preferably with fish and seafood
- Able to present data and findings to an audience and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
- Proven ability to work in a targeted sales environment, driven and motivated by targets, with the personal resilience to work well under pressure
- Highly organised with effective time management skills
- Proficient in Word/Outlook/Excel, with excellent typing skills and able to facilitate prompt and accurate data entry
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, adept in the art of conversation and able to inspire our client's confidence in you
- Good understanding of margin orientated targets
- Accountability – handling complaints, finding solutions where and when required, ensuring excellent management of accounts
