About The Role PolyNovo is currently searching for an Area Business Manager to join the Sales team. Reporting to the Sales Director, the Area Business Manager will be responsible for leading the local team to sell PolyNovo’s Novosorb in the advanced wound/burn space to maximize potential revenue and grow market share.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for selling the clinical and economic value of Novosorb technology, achieving the sales quota and surgical case mix requirements for the territory. Manage a team of Territory Sales Managers and Territory Sales Associates as a player/coach, responsible for activities and execution of sales plan for the assigned area. Develop new business through competitive selling and maintain existing relationships with customers (multi-tiered), while developing the people on your team. Manage surgical case coverage, including advising surgeons and staff before, during and after surgery. Present to groups of surgeons including slide deck presentations. Understand, communicate, and adjust to market dynamics using local market intelligence and strategic market development. Maintain CRM (Zoho) with all current information including cases, surgeon meetings and communication, account status and updates, pipeline updates and completing open tasks. Drive and manage VAC process with new accounts; manage local contracts, maximizing opportunity to drive penetration of accounts. Perform hospital in-services with OR and post-op unit care teams. Manage assigned budget while ensuring efficient asset planning, deployment, and management. Effectively process orders, perform inventory reporting, and maintain expense reporting. Perform Post Market Surveillance Customer Surveys following surgical cases and dressing changes. Effectively forecast monthly demand and revenue.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business and/or BMedSci/BSc (Life Sciences). 5+ years of experience in Medical Device Sales. 2+ years of experience managing direct reports. 3+ years of experience selling in Level I Trauma Centers. Ability to provide technical and sales training and support to new employees. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with co-workers, customers, and other stakeholders. Proficient utilizing a personal computer, specifically adept at using Microsoft Office. Ability to travel as required up to 50% – per territory requirements. Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of reporting, documentation, and organization. Experience in trauma, plastic reconstruction, or wounds preferred.
