Position Overview

The Airport Ramp Agent – Ramp and Customer Service role is a cornerstone of arenaxflex’s ground‑operations team. You will be the first point of contact for arriving and departing aircraft, ensuring that every flight leaves the gate safely, on time, and with a positive passenger experience. This position blends physical, technical, and interpersonal responsibilities, offering a dynamic workday that never feels repetitive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide and direct incoming and outgoing aircraft on taxiways, ensuring safe gate entry and departure while adhering to all airport and arenaxflex safety protocols.
  • Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, cargo, freight, and company materials—handling items up to 75 lb with care and efficiency.
  • Operate ground support equipment, including tugs, belt loaders, and baggage carts, to assist aircraft push‑backs, baggage loading, and delivery to claim areas or connecting flights.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams—flight crew, dispatch, maintenance, and customer service—to guarantee on‑time departures and a seamless passenger journey.
  • Perform routine interior cleaning of aircraft cabins and service lavatories, maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation.
  • Respond promptly to operational changes, such as unscheduled flights or weather‑related delays, by adjusting duties and communicating updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of baggage handling, equipment usage, and any incidents, ensuring compliance with regulatory and arenaxflex reporting requirements.
  • Participate in safety drills, equipment inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives to uphold the highest safety standards.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
  • Valid, unexpired, and unsuspended state driver’s license (certain license restrictions may affect eligibility).
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, overnights, weekends, holidays, and flexible days off.
  • Willingness to work additional hours on short notice when operationally required.
  • Physical capability to lift, bend, carry, and turn items weighing up to 75 lb.
  • Comfort working outdoors in variable weather conditions (rain, heat, cold, wind).
  • Strong communication skills—clear, polite, and friendly interaction with passengers, crew, and teammates.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
