Role Overview

In this full‑time, remote role you will:

  • Respond to inbound phone calls, emails, and written correspondence from members seeking help with their health‑insurance plans.
  • Research, process, and resolve inquiries related to benefits, coverage changes, eligibility, claims, provider networks, and arenaflex programs.
  • Document each interaction accurately in arenaflex’s internal systems, ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, external providers, and government agencies to obtain information and deliver comprehensive solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Member Interaction & Issue Resolution

  • Identify, investigate, and resolve a high volume of health‑insurance related questions with professionalism and empathy.
  • Provide clear explanations of contract benefits, coverage options, eligibility criteria, and claim status.
  • Maintain a calm, solution‑focused demeanor while handling complex or emotionally charged situations.

Documentation & Data Management

  • Accurately record all member interactions, updates, and resolutions in arenaflex’s CRM and claims systems.
  • Ensure data integrity by following established protocols for privacy, confidentiality, and security.
  • Generate and dispatch business correspondence, including letters, emails, and follow‑up notes, as required.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Partner with internal teams (e.g., claims, underwriting, member services) to gather necessary information and expedite resolutions.
  • Engage external stakeholders such as healthcare providers, third‑party administrators, and state agencies to verify coverage details.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to senior specialists while providing comprehensive case notes.

Performance & Quality Assurance

  • Meet or exceed established quality, quantity, and timeliness metrics.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions, coaching calls, and performance reviews to continuously improve service delivery.
  • Adhere to arenaflex’s policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines at all times.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in health‑insurance, claims examination, call‑center, or a related healthcare service environment.
  • High school diploma or GED; additional education in health administration or related fields is a plus.
  • Intermediate proficiency with PC applications (Microsoft Office, web browsers, and CRM tools).
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive health information in compliance with HIPAA.
  • Strong interpersonal and active‑listening skills, with a proven track record of achieving high customer satisfaction scores.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Experience with arenaflex’s specific insurance platforms or similar industry software.
  • Certification in customer service excellence (e.g., CCSP, HDI).
  • Familiarity with Arizona health‑insurance regulations and provider networks.
  • Ability to interpret complex policy language and translate it into plain‑English explanations for members.
  • Exceptional written communication skills for composing clear, concise business correspondence.
