Healthcare Financial Data Analytics Consultant
Rite Med Group is seeking an experienced and analytical Fiancial Data Analyst to join our growing team in an in-person capacity. This role is critical to the operational and clinical success of the organization, leveraging data to drive informed decision-making, improve patient outcomes, optimize provider performance, and support strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, healthcare data experience, and a passion for transforming complex information into actionable insights. Preference will be given to candidates with experience utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning tools, predictive analytics, and healthcare automation technologies. Candidates must have prior experience working within Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs), or other post-acute care settings.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large healthcare datasets from multiple sources.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for executive leadership and operational teams.
- Monitor clinical, financial, and operational performance metrics across facilities and provider groups.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and areas of concern to support business and clinical decision-making.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support organizational initiatives, provider performance reviews, and facility partnerships.
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership in a clear and actionable manner.
AI & Advanced Analytics
- Utilize AI-powered tools and analytics platforms to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Assist in the development and implementation of predictive models to identify trends in patient outcomes, hospitalizations, provider productivity, and facility performance.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend solutions that support organizational goals.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for automation and workflow optimization.
- Support data quality initiatives and ensure the integrity of AI-generated insights.
Healthcare Operations Support
- Analyze census, hospitalization, readmission, quality measure, and reimbursement data.
- Support value-based care initiatives through performance tracking and outcome measurement.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and administrative teams to improve workflows and performance.
- Assist with forecasting, resource allocation, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable healthcare data privacy regulations.
Data Management
- Maintain and validate data integrity across internal systems and reporting platforms.
- Develop and improve data collection processes and reporting methodologies.
- Create documentation for reports, dashboards, data definitions, and analytics procedures.
- Troubleshoot reporting discrepancies and identify root causes of data inconsistencies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Healthcare Analyst, or related role.
- Required: Previous experience working within Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs), Long-Term Care, or Post-Acute Care settings.
- Preferred: Experience utilizing AI tools, machine learning platforms, predictive analytics, or healthcare automation technologies.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar analytics platforms.
- Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems and healthcare datasets.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, quality metrics, reimbursement models, and provider performance analytics.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
