About arenaflex

arenaflex is a pioneering leader in the creation of high‑value ambulatory care delivery networks across the United States. Our mission is to build a physician‑led, patient‑centered, and clinically focused ecosystem that delivers superior health outcomes while reducing costs. By leveraging data‑driven insights, innovative care models, and collaborative partnerships, arenaflex is reshaping how specialty care is accessed, coordinated, and financed. As a remote‑first organization, we empower our talent to work from anywhere, fostering flexibility, autonomy, and a culture of continuous improvement. Joining arenaflex means becoming part of a purpose‑driven team that is dedicated to transforming the healthcare landscape for patients, providers, and communities alike.

Why This Role Matters

In today’s rapidly evolving healthcare environment, accurate data is the foundation of strategic decision‑making. Our Specialty Network teams rely on precise, timely, and well‑organized information to evaluate market opportunities, assess provider performance, and design networks that deliver high‑quality, cost‑effective care. As a Remote Part‑Time Data Entry Clerk, you will be the backbone of this analytical engine, ensuring that every data point is captured, validated, and ready for deeper analysis. Your work will directly influence the development of specialty networks that improve patient access, enhance provider efficiency, and drive measurable value for the entire arenaflex ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Capture & Validation: Accurately enter large volumes of clinical, financial, and operational data from a variety of sources—including electronic health records, provider contracts, and market research reports—into arenaflex’s proprietary data platforms.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform routine data quality checks, reconcile discrepancies, and flag inconsistencies for further investigation, ensuring the integrity of all datasets used in network analysis.
  • Support Analytic Projects: Assist senior analysts in preparing data sets for specialty network adequacy assessments, supply‑demand opportunity studies, and cost‑efficiency evaluations.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Generate clear, concise documentation of data entry procedures, maintain audit trails, and produce summary reports that highlight data completeness and accuracy metrics.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Communicate regularly with care delivery organization partners, provider networks, and internal project teams to gather missing information and clarify data requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data entry workflows, recommend automation tools, and contribute to the development of best‑practice guidelines for data management.
  • Compliance & Confidentiality: Adhere to all HIPAA regulations, data privacy policies, and arenaflex’s security protocols while handling sensitive patient and provider information.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in health information management, business, or a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1‑2 years of professional data entry experience, preferably in a healthcare or insurance environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and basic data visualization).
  • Strong attention to detail, with a proven track record of delivering error‑free work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey data‑related issues clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote setting, while maintaining high levels of productivity and accountability.
  • Familiarity with healthcare terminology (e.g., CPT codes, DRG classifications) and an understanding of specialty care delivery models is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience with data management tools such as SQL, Access, or cloud‑based platforms (e.g., Google BigQuery, Snowflake).
  • Exposure to analytics software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or statistical packages (e.g., SAS, R) for basic data manipulation.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards and best practices for handling protected health information (PHI).
  • Prior involvement in specialty network projects, provider contract analysis, or health economics research.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems, data models, and evolving business processes.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret data trends, spot anomalies, and understand the broader implications of data quality on network strategy.
  • Organizational Skills: Efficiently manage multiple data entry tasks, prioritize workload, and meet project milestones without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Problem‑Solving: Proactively address data gaps, propose practical solutions, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues.
  • Technology Savvy: Comfort with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom) and a willingness to adopt emerging data‑entry technologies.
  • Ethical Integrity: Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, safeguarding patient information, and upholding the highest ethical standards.
