Remote Hygiene Standards Auditor

Remote, USA Full-time Posted 2026-06-13

Our client, a premier consultancy firm specializing in hygiene and sanitation excellence, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Remote Hygiene Standards Auditor to join their expanding global team. This fully remote position offers the unique opportunity to contribute to maintaining and elevating sanitation standards across a diverse portfolio of businesses without the need for daily office attendance. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a comprehensive understanding of hygiene protocols, and the ability to conduct thorough assessments through digital means and virtual site visits. The primary responsibility of the Remote Hygiene Standards Auditor is to evaluate and verify adherence to established hygiene and sanitation standards for various client operations. This involves reviewing documentation, analyzing data submitted by clients, conducting virtual walk-throughs via video conferencing, and performing remote audits of cleaning procedures and supply management. You will be responsible for assessing compliance with industry-specific regulations, best practices, and client-specific requirements, identifying areas of non-compliance, and providing clear, actionable recommendations for improvement. Key duties include preparing detailed audit reports, documenting findings with supporting evidence (photographs, videos, data logs), and presenting these findings to clients and internal management. You will also be expected to follow up on corrective actions implemented by clients to ensure sustained compliance. The role requires continuous learning to stay updated on evolving hygiene standards, regulatory changes, and new technologies impacting the sanitation industry. Effective communication through various digital platforms is paramount, as you will interact with clients and colleagues from different geographical locations. To be successful in this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Public Health, Environmental Science, Food Science, or Hospitality Management. A minimum of 4 years of experience in quality assurance, auditing, sanitation management, or a closely related field is required. Prior experience with remote auditing or virtual assessments is a significant advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, are essential. Proficiency with standard office software, video conferencing tools, and cloud-based document management systems is expected. The ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively, and meet strict deadlines in a remote setting is crucial. This is a fantastic chance to leverage your expertise in sanitation from the comfort of your home. Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
