Role Description The Automotive Board of Advisors role at Professionals Network is a remote, contract position focused on providing strategic guidance to automotive-related projects, companies, and initiatives. Advisors will participate in virtual meetings, review business plans and financial models, and offer independent perspectives on growth, risk, and innovation in the automotive sector. Day-to-day activities may include evaluating new opportunities, contributing to market and competitor analyses, advising on fundraising and partnership strategies, and supporting the development of go-to-market and marketing plans. Advisors will collaborate with other board members and internal stakeholders, share industry insights, and help shape long-term strategic priorities, while maintaining objectivity and professional ethics. The role is designed for experienced professionals who can commit to regular virtual sessions and occasional asynchronous reviews of materials.

Qualifications

Strong Finance and Fundraising skills, including the ability to interpret financial statements, assess capital needs, and advise on investor and funding strategies. Demonstrated Analytical Skills and Research capabilities to evaluate market trends, competitive landscapes, and operational performance in the automotive sector. Marketing experience, ideally including strategic positioning, brand development, and go-to-market planning for automotive products or services. Prior leadership or advisory experience in the automotive industry (OEM, suppliers, mobility, EV, aftermarket, or related areas). Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders. Proven ability to work remotely and collaboratively, managing time effectively and meeting agreed timelines. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience is beneficial.
