[Remote] Sales Development Representative (SDR)

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be the first point of contact with potential customers, responsible for generating new business opportunities and nurturing leads to support the sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and social media to identify and engage potential customers
• Qualify inbound leads and determine their readiness to move through the sales process
• Research target accounts and industries to develop tailored and creative outreach strategies
• Use YouGov data and insights to tell compelling stories that resonate with prospects
• Set appointments for our sales team, ensuring seamless handoffs for continued engagement
• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce to track outreach efforts, lead status, and sales activity
• Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and share feedback to strengthen lead generation efforts

Skills

• 1–2 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or customer-facing roles (entry-level candidates with relevant internships also considered)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage prospects clearly and confidently
• Strong time management and organizational skills—you can balance high activity while staying detail-oriented
• Creative problem-solving skills to design outreach that stands out
• Comfort using data and insights for persuasive storytelling
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with eagerness to grow in a sales career
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
