Data Center Network Consultant

We are looking for a Data Center Network professional responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting complex multi-vendor network infrastructures across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, with a strong focus on private cloud deployments. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of compute, storage, and backup systems into enterprise network architecture.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and architect scalable, secure, and resilient multi-vendor data center network solutions. Develop High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation prior to deployment. Create detailed as-built documentation after implementation. Support pre-sales and advisory activities by analyzing customer requirements and proposing tailored network solutions. Conduct data center assessments, gap analysis, and recommendations aligned with industry best practices. Ensure integration of compute, storage, virtualization, and backup systems into network architecture. Identify and implement opportunities for network automation and orchestration to improve operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end deployment and optimization of network solutions.

Qualifications

Mandatory Skills 3–4+ years of experience in Data Center Networking / Professional Services / Consulting / Advisory roles. Strong hands-on experience in network design and implementation (not support-only roles). Aruba AOS-CX & AOS switching (VLAN, IP, LAG, Stacking, VSX/VSF, MLAG) Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, Static VXLAN-EVPN, Spine-Leaf architecture SD-WAN (SilverPeak / Aruba SD-Branch) Juniper JUNOS OS QFX / ACX / PTX platforms Switching & Routing VXLAN-EVPN Apstra, Paragon tools Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switching Cisco ACI Routing & Switching fundamentals HPE / NVIDIA HPE FlexFabric (Comware OS, switching) NVIDIA Spectrum-X and InfiniBand technologies Strong understanding of data center ecosystems (compute, storage, virtualization, backup). Valid certification such as CCNP or equivalent/higher. Preferred Skills Experience with network automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Perl, etc.). Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) from an integration perspective. Strong documentation and communication skills. DevOps exposure is an added advantage.
