Remote ACT/SAT Exam Tutor (Seeking US College Student)
?? Welcome to 5 Academy! We're a college-student-run ACT/SAT-prep startup specializing in software and elite 1-on-1 tutoring that renders students fast test-improvement results. Currently recruiting a tutor to help us grow our student reach. We'll guide you through our tutoring process. It's simple work, but it takes time and an understanding of the skills on the tests, which we'll fill you in... on. If you feel like you're well-versed in the ACT/SAT's content or its skills, we'd love to have you onboard! ?? We're particularly interested in people who performed well on the SAT/ACT, may have interest in Scientific research, English and literature, writing, or just tutoring/education in general. - ? Part-time tutor needed to work as an online tutor for high school students
? Contractor role Basic qualifications ? High ACT score (30+) or high SAT score (1400+) ? High school diploma ? Can work remotely ? Strong command of English ? Strong teaching capabilities ? Willingness to support evening/weekend meetings Desired qualifications ? You've worked with students ? You've helped students improve their SAT/ACT scores before ? You're familiar with startups and startup culture ? You're willing and able to have brief meetings with cofounders 2-3x a week to discuss student progress, provide issue reports, and bring product feedback directly from students ? Understanding of the ACT test and its four sections: English, Math, Reading, Science 30+ ACT composite score ? Willingness to quickly learn skills and content that you may not understand via our online resources Responsibilities ? Tutoring students 2-10 hours per week in 1-hour session units ?
