Freelance content reviewer - Psychiatry

Hi! We are AMBOSS, and we are looking for a board-certified, US-trained, practicing psychiatrist to support clinical quality assurance on a freelance basis. In this role, you will apply your clinical expertise to help us refine and optimize the psychiatry content on the AMBOSS platform. If you are a board-certified physician who values efficient, evidence–based clinical decision-making, this is an opportunity to influence medical education and help improve medical care for millions of people globally. You will: Provide structured, clear, clinically relevant feedback on ~90 articles Flag inaccuracies, outdated information, and missing high-risk content (without having to rewrite content yourself). Optional: Lead 1–2 brief educational sessions focusing on clinical decision-making in your clinical practice. You bring: Required Medical degree (MD/DO) with completed US psychiatry training (ABPN certification required) Current or recent clinical practice in psychiatry in the US (within the last 2 years) Strong understanding of: Diagnostic reasoning Psychopharmacology Somatic therapies (e.g., ECT, TMS, ketamine) Strong understanding of US clinical guidelines and evidence-based practice Ability to efficiently collaborate asynchronously with fast turnaround Ability to distinguish between board-relevant or clinically useful content and non-essential, nice-to-know details Bonus Experience with: Medical education or teaching (especially teaching residents) Clinical decision support tools (e.g., AMBOSS, UpToDate) You enjoy: Flexible, asynchronous work: Contribute your expertise on your own schedule. Direct impact: Knowing your feedback immediately improves the safety and quality of a major clinical tool Clinical education: Sharing your specialty knowledge to help non-specialists understand the nuances of psychiatric care

Compensation
