YouTube Host (Crypto Channel)
About Academy Academy is a media company running 50+ YouTube channels across business, tech, finance, eCommerce, AI, real estate, crypto, and other niches. We build “content machines” — high-quality, searchable educational videos designed to rank, convert, and compound for years. We are hiring an on-camera YouTube Host for our crypto-focused channel, CryptoGX. You’ll focus on researching, scripting, and filming engaging educational content around cryptocurrency, blockchain, Web3, and market trends. Our team handles editing, thumbnails, publishing, and channel operations. This is a remote, outcome-based role with flexible working hours.
Job Description
- Host and present educational YouTube videos focused on crypto, blockchain, Web3, and market trends
- Research, script, and film engaging long-form YouTube content
- Create content such as crypto news, market commentary, project breakdowns, beginner explainers, and educational videos
- Record A-roll (talking head videos) and simple screen recordings when needed
- Collaborate with producers to improve hooks, clarity, pacing, and viewer retention
- Follow our research, scripting, and filming frameworks
- Deliver approximately 10 videos per month while maintaining quality and consistency
Requirements
- Passionate and knowledgeable about cryptocurrency, blockchain, Web3, and the crypto industry
- Comfortable and confident on camera with strong audience engagement skills
- Strong spoken English with clear communication and presentation abilities
- Strong writing and research skills with an educational content style
- Able to simplify complicated crypto topics into engaging and easy-to-understand videos
- Reliable, self-managed, and consistent with deadlines in a remote work environment
- Understanding of YouTube retention fundamentals such as hooks, pacing, clarity, and storytelling is a plus
- Previous experience in YouTube, hosting, TikTok, podcasting, social media, or educational creator content is preferred
- Access to a reliable filming setup including camera, microphone, lighting, clean background, and stable internet connection
- Fast learner who can quickly understand new crypto topics and explain them clearly
