Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Data Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our Commitment and Maintenance Information Designing group, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing cutting-edge data solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

* Contribute to the design and development of our data items and data warehouses around Commitment and Maintenance Examination and Information Science

  • Plan and develop flexible data warehousing solutions, building ETL pipelines in Large Data conditions (cloud, on-prem, hybrid)
  • Our tech stack includes Hadoop, AWS, Snowflake, Flink, and Windstream, with languages including Python, Scala
  • Help engineer data solutions/structures and define data models for the core data warehouse and data shops
  • Collaborate with Data Item Chiefs, Data Modelers, and Data Architects to design, implement, and deliver successful data solutions
  • Maintain detailed documentation of your work and changes to ensure data quality and data administration
  • Ensure high operational productivity and quality of your solutions to meet SLAs and support obligations to our clients (Information Science, Information Examination groups)
  • Be an active member and advocate of agile/scrum practice to ensure safety and cycle enhancements for your team

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Strong SQL skills and ability to write queries to extract data and build performant datasets
  • Experience with distributed systems like Flink, Hadoop (HDFS, Hive, Voila, PySpark) to query and process data
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java/Scala
  • Experience with at least one major MPP or cloud database technology (Snowflake, Redshift, Large Query)
  • Strong involvement in data integration toolsets (i.e. Windstream) and writing and maintaining data pipelines
  • Familiarity with Scrum and Agile approaches

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with cloud advances like AWS (S3, EMR, EC2)

  • Strong involvement in data modeling strategies and data warehousing standard systems and practices
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and technologies
