Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, execute, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks, scripts, and quality engineering solutions. Contribute to automation tool enhancements, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous integration systems to improve maintainability and efficiency. Collaborate with software, security, and cross-functional engineering teams to perform system-level testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure software quality. Analyze test results, diagnose issues across multi-tier architectures, and provide recommendations to improve system performance, reliability, and developer productivity. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, including at least 3 years as an SDET and 2+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript. Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and TypeScript for automation development. Experience designing and building automation frameworks from scratch. Strong expertise with frontend automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, TestCafe, or similar technologies. Experience developing backend integration tests for RESTful APIs and working with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and source control systems like Git. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and log analysis skills, including tools such as Splunk or GCP logging solutions. Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills with experience working in Agile/Lean environments. Preferred Skills: Experience testing cloud-based products and distributed systems. Familiarity with VPN technologies and networking concepts. Experience with load, scalability, and performance testing. Experience building internal tools to improve developer productivity and testing efficiency.
