Product Manager – Regulatory Data

Job Description:

Define and evolve requirements for regulatory and compliance reports across multiple U.S. jurisdictions
Write and run SQL queries to validate report logic, identify root causes, and support audit investigations
Understand how data flows from source systems through pipelines into report outputs, and map those flows clearly
Partner with Compliance and Legal to interpret regulatory requirements, resolve ambiguity, and translate into precise data logic
Collaborate with Data Engineering and Platform teams to manage dependencies and maintain data quality
Act as the subject matter expert on field-level report logic, business context, and jurisdictional nuance
Monitor regulatory changes and lead corresponding updates to logic, format, and pipeline dependencies
Ensure all documentation is accurate, accessible, and defensible under regulatory scrutiny
Lead triage and resolution of data or reporting issues in production environments

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in product, compliance operations, regulatory reporting, or adjacent roles
Technical fluency. You can speak the language of APIs, data pipelines, and integration plans even if you're not the one writing the code
Strong analytical chops. You’ve worked with SQL, BI tools, or large datasets and aren’t afraid to dig into the data to verify assumptions
A bias toward action. You don’t get stuck waiting for someone else to make the first move
Comfort working closely with legal, compliance, external regulators, and engineering stakeholders across time zones
The ability to influence without authority, make defensible decisions, and challenge assumptions when needed
A sense of humor, perspective, and resilience, because compliance doesn’t have to be boring.
