Security Research Engineer / Common Criteria Security Engineer
You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Common Criteria certification processes for the product portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with external third-party labs, global engineers, and program managers on certification initiatives.
- Assess the feasibility of certification assurance and completion.
- Write and develop technical documentation, network analysis, and business feasibility studies.
- Architect and document product solutions to translate them into specific certification requirements.
- Interface with engineering, product management, and development test teams to ensure standards are met.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience with Common Criteria.
- 6 or more years of industry experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in IT networking and security.
- Working knowledge of network security, IDS/IPS, network access, routing, and switching.
- Experience with datacenter, cloud computing, and cryptography/encryption.
- Strong technical writing skills for drafting engineering documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives with minimal direction.
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
- Willingness to travel based on program needs.
Preferred Skills
- CCNA or CCNP certifications.
- Deep technical knowledge of deploying and administering Cisco technology, including Unified Communications.
