Job Summary

As a Full Stack Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and implementing data infrastructure solutions that enable business intelligence and analytics capabilities across the organization. You'll work closely with stakeholders and engineering teams to identify and scope data structures and technologies that facilitate the evaluation of key business questions. Your expertise will be critical in developing and maintaining high-quality data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and implementing anomaly detection systems to proactively address potential data quality issues.

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to identify and scope data structures and technologies that facilitate the evaluation of key business questions

  • Design, build, and implement data infrastructure solutions that enable business intelligence and analytics capabilities across the organization
  • Develop and maintain high-quality data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Implement anomaly detection systems to proactively address potential data quality issues
  • Work with cross-functional teams to establish and implement technology best practices that promote data quality and integrity
  • Develop and implement evidence-based principles for the adoption of new technologies and tools
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and analytics

Essential Qualifications

* 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipeline development

  • Proficiency in SQL and one or more query languages (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, MDX, HiveQL, SparkSQL, Scala)
  • Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, KornShell)
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex data structures
  • Experience with data visualization tools and technologies (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and EMR

  • Experience with big data processing technologies (e.g., Hadoop or Apache Spark)
  • Knowledge of data warehouse technical architecture, infrastructure components, ETL, and reporting/analytic tools and environments
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS)
