Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

• Building and deploying advanced machine learning models using technical expertise in data science, statistical modeling, and data engineering.
• Developing and maintaining large-scale data pipelines to extract insights from complex datasets.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, research, software development, and business leaders, to define product requirements and provide analytical support.
• Communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including business leaders and customers.
• Designing and implementing A/B experiments to inform business decisions.
• Working with cloud-based technologies, including Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, and GitHub.
• Utilizing programming languages, such as Python, PySpark, Matplotlib, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
• Building and deploying predictive models using supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, including choice trees, regression, XGBoost, K means, and anomaly detection.
• Interpreting and visualizing results to inform business decisions.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as computer science, statistics, mathematics, or engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field, or a minimum of 7 years of experience in a related field with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field, such as a Master's or Ph.D. in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or engineering.
• At least 4 years of experience working with large-scale, complex datasets to create and optimize machine learning models.
• Advanced experience in SQL, Python, PySpark, or other programming languages.
• Experience with exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and selection, pattern detection, distribution analysis, and visualization.
• Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, including choice trees, regression, XGBoost, K means, and anomaly detection.
• Experience with cloud-based technologies, including Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, and GitHub.
• Experience designing and implementing A/B experiments.
• Advanced degree talent in conveying rigorous technical standards and issues to non-experts.
• Experience working in a dynamic environment and working with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering results.
• Experience efficiently communicating technical answers and advocating to research scientists, engineering teams, and business audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

* Ph.D. in a quantitative field, such as computer science, statistics, mathematics, or engineering.

• Experience working with IoT and Edge AI.
• Experience in Reinforcement Learning.
• Experience in Healthcare.
