What You'll Do
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Grasping business information requirements and breaking down business processes and cycles to identify the most suitable data sources for analysis.
- Supporting the identification and application of statistical methods based on business needs, aiding in the development, planning, and execution of exploratory data analysis research projects.
- Translating business requirements into tasks, activities, and deliverables, and identifying suitable techniques and tools to address business issues. You will work closely with Information Researchers to drive data-driven insights.
- Creating visual representations of data and modeling results, understanding client requirements to design suitable data visualizations for various data sets.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making and business outcomes.
What You'll Bring
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A passion for critical thinking, analytical attitude, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with large datasets, uncovering insights, and telling stories with data.
- Proficiency in working with massive data sets, writing code and queries in SQL, Python/R for data analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of data set innovations and distributed data stores (e.g., SQL, NoSQL), as well as Big Data and Cloud advancements like GCP BQ.
- Insight into data visualization tools and best practices, such as Looker, PowerBI, and others.
